Having a meaningful, engaging, and effective brand will make you look great. My brand development packages listed below have specifically been created for start-ups and small businesses. I will not just be delivering a logo design that you can be proud of, but also a compelling visual identity and a range of brand materials that will represent you to a great extent and continue to add value to your business for many years to come.
FREE INITIAL TELEPHONE CONSULTATION
Before I can begin the brand development process, a free initial informal phone consultation will take place whereby I will get the chance to get to know more about you and your brand. I will discuss with you my design process, and help you decide which of my packages are best suitable for you and your brand.
ONLINE FORM ACCESS & ONGOING EMAIL CONSULTATION
My streamline brand development process is guided by a form that is meticulously designed to draw out crucial information from you in regards to your brand. The questions within the form range from primary queries about your business, your target audience, your competitors, to more perplexing questions that will encourage you to think about your business from a new point of view to assist with the creative process.
As your brand identity consultant, you will be able to contact me at any time via email to provide additional information and discuss any questions that might arise during the process.
WEEKLY TELEPHONE CONSULTATION
Collecting information via our online forms and delivering material by email is an efficient process, but for larger projects, it can help to touch base regularly with a regularly scheduled weekly telephone consultation.
This can help our clients to provide more nuanced feedback, discuss options, solicit on the spot recommendations and benefit more extensively from the expertise of the assigned brand identity consultant. It also provides a great opportunity for us to update you on the status of your project, discuss the progress that’s been made in the previous week and look ahead to the next stage.
Logo development is more than just design. I will produce a visual identity system for your brand influenced by the design preferences and requirements that you provide me with. Besides the logo, this is the visual devices that your brand uses to communicate such as graphic imagery, colour system, fonts, etc.
I will create three unique logo design options for your brand; each one developed using a different basis and approach so that you have a real choice. A broad range of standard file formats of your logo will be delivered to you, ready to be used on all your brand materials online and offline – print and digital.
A good tagline is like a miniature Brand Story, concisely expressing the essence of your brand and nature of your business with just a few unforgettable words. Based on thorough analysis of the written material presented for your brand, I will leverage all of my strategic and creative skills to produce a set of three options for you to choose from, any one of which you will be satisfied to place underneath your logo.
MISSION, VISION & VALUES
Your brand’s mission statement specifies the scope of your work and the effect you plan to have on the world. It declares what you do for others and the approach you follow as you aim to achieve the aspirations you have set for yourself or your business. Think of your mission as the journey you will follow to achieve your vision.
Your vision statement illustrates your long-term goals. It tells why you are doing what you are doing and the good you want to accomplish through the success of your brand. Think of your vision as the picture of where you sequentially want your work to lead you.
Values help manage the actions through which your mission and vision will be accomplished. They also signal that there is more to your business than commercial self-interest and that you are an asset to your community.
I will include a dedicated page within your general brand guidelines document with the provided and relevant information in regards to this. Information is always good to be a write-up of a mission and vision statement, along with a set of values for your brand that will support you in achieving these objectives.
Expanding on your Brand Values to explain why you hold them, what they imply to you and what they mean for your consumers can help to build an even deeper connection between your brand and its audience while laying even solid foundations for an active brand culture both within your business and beyond. To accomplish this, I will require a brief, inspiring write up outlining in detail each of your brand values and I will find an effective but yet simple way to include this as part of your brand guidelines document.
TONE OF VOICE
Unlike Mission, Vision and Values, which hold both in-house and outside purposes, the tone of voice is meant principally as a guide for those within your business.
The tone of voice sets out the way in which your team and associates should communicate with clients or consumers and other outside people. It should influence everything from the way you greet your customers, the tone in your email correspondence, the text on your website, to the copy of your advertising campaigns.
A tone of voice is always ideal as part of your brand guidelines to build a consistent and uniform communications system.
The goal and purpose of a brand story are to set out the characteristics of your business and the character of your brand, while also helping to establish a differentiated approach that consumers will find appropriate and engaging. This can be from how they interact with it, what your brand says about itself and what customers say about it.
It is more than the ‘about us’ section of your website. Your brand story is who you are, and whom you wish to become.
Your brand story is your points for a significant relationship with the people that matter most to its success, which is your consumers. Your story defines and forms your brand’s connection with every major stakeholder and audience.

BRAND GUIDELINES TIER 1 (BESPOKE VISUAL IDENTITY DESIGN)
A Brand Guidelines document is usually expected to be designed for bigger and established businesses, but as a custom, this is something I offer for every brand development package. It will help a small business present itself in a manner that it has been set to give when it comes to being consistent and the impact it is meant to give upon its customers.
A Brand Guidelines document can be the difference between a good brand and a great one. The document will be created in line with the same specifications put in place to communicate your brand’s visual identity at a glance.
BRAND GUIDELINES TIER 2 (IDENTITY WRITE-UP, LOGO USAGE, COLOUR PALETTES/CODES, TYPOGRAPHY)
This Brand Guidelines document will include two key parts, About Us and Elements. About Us is a summary of your brand’s identity, personality and positioning, which condenses the written elements developed for your brand at the beginning of the process.
Elements describe the visual features and aspects of your brand identity which, used together, make your business a brand that is recognised immediately. This part covers specs for your brand’s typography and colour palettes. Colours codes such as RGB, CMYK, HEX, and Pantone will also be included in this section. I will also provide font files for your brand’s typography which can be installed and used on any computer.
A logo usage guide will also be included to ensure that your logo is displayed consistently and efficiently in any situation whether online or in print. The logo usage guide covers other details such as prohibited uses and exclusion zones.

PHOTOGRAPHY STYLE GUIDE
